</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Times;">Clifford D. Thomas, 91, rural Springerton, died 10:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro.

</span>Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried and Elder Larry Woodrow officiating. Burial will be in Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro with graveside military rites by American Legion Post No. 106. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the funeral home.

He was the widower of the former Dorothy M. Ingram. He is survived by a son, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
