OBITUARY: Mary Lou Doyle
Mary Lou Doyle, 68, of Ridgway, passed away at her home Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012. She was born in Ridgway April 27, 1944, to Mathias J. "Matt" and Eleanora (Koester) Neumann and was raised in the home of Edwin J. and Madeline C. (Roe) Koester. Mary Lou married Jim Doyle May 30, 1967. She was legal secretary for the Gallatin County States Attorney office.
She was also a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ridgway.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Jim Doyle of Ridgway; two sons, Tim and Chris Doyle of Evansville, Ind., Greg and Charity Doyle of Plainview, Ark.; two sisters, Cathy and Don Sanders of Marion, Margie Aydt of Evansville, Ind.; four sister-in-laws, Delores Neumann of Fair Oaks, Calif., Mary Ellen Neumann of Ridgway, Carolyn and Danny Walker of Sullivan, Ky., Helen Templeton of Henderson, Ky.; two brother-in-laws, Buzzy Doyle of Sturgis, Ky., Larry and JoAnn Doyle of Sullivan, Ky.; three grandchildren, Evan Fredrick, Olivia Nichole, and Benjamin Connor Doyle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both sets of parents; two brothers, Richard and Donald Neumann. Visitation for Mary Lou is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, with prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shawneetown with Father Steven Beatty officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery near Ridgway.
