Judy Martin
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Judy Martin, 69, 1100 Main St., Carrier Mills, died 5:24 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.
At Judy's request, there will only be a visitation for cremated remains held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home, Carrier Mills. Burial will be at a later date at Providence Cemetery.
She was born on Feb. 4, 1941, in Cambria to the late Claude and Mattie (Bostain) Roland. She married Mondel "Monk" Martin on Dec. 24, 1961, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 2006.
She was a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion Post No. 364 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a sister, Floella Smith of Herrin; a niece, Mary Elizabeth Sloan of Marion; a nephew, Rod Smith of Herrin; and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Leon Roland.
