Vera Lee Plaisance

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Vera Lee Plaisance, 58, Raceland, La., formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, in Raceland, La.

She was born Feb. 2, 1951, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Troy and Almedia Karnes Bryant. On Jan. 9, 1984, she married Holden Plaisance, who survives.

Surviving her are her parents; husband; daughter, Michelle Wolf; two stepdaughters, Jamie Boudreaux and Tessie Champagne; two stepsons, Tracy Plaisance and Cary Plaisance; two brothers, Troy Bryant Jr. and Oral Bryant; four sisters, Darlene Fredman, Rachel Hunt, Ella Young and Judy Myers; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Crane Jr.

Graveside services will precede burial in Sunset Garden Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, with the Rev. G.E. Coultas officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
