Galatia High School Homecoming this week

Homecoming festivities have begun at Galatia High School.

Wednesday was "Biker Day" and today decorating crews were working on the gym. The basketball team was perfecting its game.

At 7 p.m. Friday the athletics start with the junior varsity game followed by the varsity game. The opponent is Agape Christian High School.

Saturday the gym will be converted to a Hollywood theme for the coronation ceremony at 7 p.m. followed by the dance at 8 p.m. The dance will end at 11 p.m.

Refreshments will be finger foods: small sandwiches and cookies. Soft drinks will be served as well.

The king will receive a crown and the queen will receive a tiara.
