Juice is OK, will play next game
Illinois sophomore quarterback Juice Williams, who didn't play in the last 2 1/2 quarters of the 40-34 loss to Missouri on Saturday, will return to practice today and start Saturday when the Illini (0-1) host Western Illinois (1-0) in the home opener (6 p.m., Big Ten Network), coach Ron Zook said Sunday afternoon.
"Right now, he's fine,'' Zook said. "He got a helmet knocked down on his left eye. He's fine. He's 90 percent better today than yesterday. The doctor thinks he'll be 100 percent better tomorrow. He'll be OK.''
