When director Rob Reiner asked Morgan Freeman to star in his new comedy-drama "The Bucket List," a story about two terminally ill strangers becoming friends and going on a series of adventures before they "kick the bucket," Freeman said he'd do it if Reiner got Jack Nicholson to costar.
