Obituary: Glendel 'Red' Yarber

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Glendel "Red" Yarber, 54, of the Wasson community, passed away 8:22 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was born Oct. 21, 1956, in Harrisburg to Thurmond and Ruby Lane Yarber.

He is survived by one son, Glendel Yarber Jr. of Golconda; one daughter, Peggy Sue Yarber of Harrisburg; nine brothers, Lester Yarber of Crystal River, Fla., Darrell Yarber, Orley Yarber, Roger Yarber, Kenny Yarber, Johnny Yarber and Robert Yarber, all of Eldorado, Burl Yarber of Valparaiso, Ind. and Leslie Yarber of Harrisburg; six sisters, Barbara Yarber and Brenda Yarber of Eldorado, Wanda Thomas of Harrisburg, Marla Bourland of Omaha, Anita Turner of Cave-In-Rock and Karen Yarber of Thompsonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles; and four sisters, Coi King, Neva Smock, Mary Lou Haytt and Carol Pankey.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Jeff Roth officiating and burial in Liberty Cemetery.
