James Jack Richardson, Jr., 89, Harrisburg

James Jack Richardson, Jr., age 89 of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:49 AM, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at his residence in Harrisburg.

James was born on October 28, 1926 to the late James Jack Richardson, Sr. and Addie Mae Richardson. James was a member of the Highview Baptist Church. He worked for the Janitorial Program through Coleman Tri-County Services and he also performed several handy man jobs for various members of the community in his younger days. James was a man of great faith and was ready to meet his Lord.

James is survived by one brother, Jim Richardson of Centralia, Illinois, and several special friends, staff members and consumers from Coleman Tri-County Services.

Funeral services for James Jack Richardson, Jr., will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Pastor Earl Webb will officiate and burial will follow Masonic Cemetery at Metropolis. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
