OBITUARY: Herb Cummins

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Memorial services for Herb Cummins, 82, of Tyler, Texas, are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas, with Dr. David Dykes and Dr. Powell officiating.

Mr. Cummins passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in Tyler, Texas.

He was born December 19, 1929, in Harrisburg. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, he was an insurance agent and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School class.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Cummins; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stan and Doug and Amy; and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the Frienship Sunday School class at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. The family requests memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
