OBITUARY: Donald L. Biggs

Donald L. Biggs, age 74, departed this life at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Donald was a proud businessman with Biggs Auto Electric for many years and graduated with HTHS class of 1958. One of his favorite activities was "dinner meetings" with his circle of classmates.

He was a devoted family man. Leaving to mourn him is his wife of 54 years, Linda Biggs. His children, Donald L. Biggs II and Nori, Barrie (Biggs) Questelle and Jon Michael Biggs and wife Krissy. He was loving "Pop" to Kaje and Ely Questelle and Drew and Will Biggs. Don was "Big Brother" to Darlene Borders and Debbie Oglesby and husband Steve; nephews, Jared Borders, Zach Oglesby and wife Sumer, and Gabe Oglesby; special niece, Ashley Davis and husband Brent; and great-nephew, Samuel Davis. He also leaves his rescued, "dog friend" Piper and the good neighbors of Oglesby Road, especially, David Morris and his sons, Cody and Dillon.

Visitation was held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Memorials may be made to the 4C's or the Carmi Baptist Children's Home. Cremation followed the visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
