Director Dirk Wallace Craft Dies at 48
Director Dirk Wallace Craft, who worked on such TV shows as Rizzoli & Isles , Burn Notice and Nip/Tuck , has died after a three-year battle with an undisclosed illness, Variety reports. He was 48.
Born in Pontiac, Mich., Craft graduated from Michigan State University and moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to pursue a filmmaking career.

As an assistant director, Craft's TV and film credits included The Crucible , Running with Scissors , Nip/Tuck and Rizzoli & Isles. He also recently directed episodes of Burn Notice and the online series Dicki.
Craft is survived by his wife Sande, their two children, his mother and a sister.
