Obituary: Gerald 'Jerry' Lane

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Gerald "Jerry" Lane, 77, of Eddyville, passed away May 21, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Eldorado on Dec. 23, 1934, to Earl and Mary (Minshul) Lane. He married Dorothy Stilley in 1954.

Jerry was retired from Illinois Power. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 702.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Lane of Eddyville; three sons, Russell (Susan) Lane of Herod, Roger Lane of Dale and Bart (Carol) Lane of Raum; three grandsons, Ely Lane of Carbondale, Adam (Amy) Lane of Harrisburg and Jacob Lane of Cypress; two great-grandchildren, Charlie Jo Lane and Adam Lane II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; infant Steven, Ralph, and Larry Lane.
