Ridgway offers trick-or-treating guidance
RIDGWAY - If you wish for your child to trick-or-treat this year on Halloween night, the Ridgway board asks that you do not knock on doors after 8 p.m.
Residents who wish to entertain trick-or-treaters are asked to please turn on porch lights and follow the safety recommendations from the CDC which are:
Anyone who may have COVID-19 or may have been exposed should not participate in any in-person Halloween festivities or give candy to children;
Wear masks - a Halloween mask is not a substitute for COVID-19 mask;
Put individually wrapped treats on a table six feet away and allow trick-or-treaters to grab and go.
It is safer to chose homes that the parents or children are familiar with.
The village is not sponsoring any trick-or-treating activities this year. Be safe.
