OBITUARY: James H. Clark
James H. Clark, of Largo, Fla., passed away Oct. 15, 2012, at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park.
He was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Christopher and had been a Florida resident since 1977. Before moving to Florida, he was an Eldorado businessman and well-known musician/bandleader of the Jimmy Hudson Orchestra in Southern Illinois and surrounding areas. He was the founder of Downstate Securities Group in Belleair Bluffs, Fla. Mr. Clark was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran.
He was married to the former Dorris L. Cochran Aug. 31, 1946, who predeceased him Dec. 24, 2000.
Survivors include sons, Jerome H. Clark (Patricia Poore) of Eldorado and James M. Clark (Meredith Lambert) of Largo, Fla.; daughters, Pamela S. Baird (Allan Gorrow) of Broughton and Tina E. Watson (Wayne Watson) of Largo, Fla.; a sister, Sally K. Carr (Carroll Carr); 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are noon Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo, Fla. Visitation hours are scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Entombment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel Mausoleum.
