Trevor Scott Howell
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Trevor Scott Howell, 20, of Harrisburg, formerly of Johnston City, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at the Harrisburg Medical Center.
Trevor was born on March 9, 1989, in Carbondale to Jeffery Elias and Julie Quinn Briscoe Howell Landis.
Trevor is survived by his mother, Julie Quinn Briscoe Landis and stepfather, David Landis Jr. of Harrisburg; father, Jeffery Elias Howell, stepmother Theresa, and stepsister, Michelle Evans of Johnston City; his maternal grandmother, Elfreda L. Briscoe of Johnston City; stepgrandparents, David and Marilyn Landis of Harrisburg; aunts and uncles, Pastor Bruce and Edie Horsley of Flora, James and Paula Briscoe of Benton, and Eric and Rhonda Briscoe of Marion, Helen Briscoe of Johnston City, and Jim and Tammy Howell of Colp; great-aunts and uncles, Rose Christy of Ottumwa, Iowa, Doris Barksdale of Yorkville, Verna Briscoe of Johnston City, Lorita Carner of Fruitland Park, Fla., Mary Pastorello of Florida, Gary and Kathy Briscoe of Blairsville, Ga. and Robert Handley Sr. of Ottumwa, Iowa; many cousins, Joey Samples of Johnston City, Beth Pate of Flora, Shane Horsley and Betty of Marion, Ben Briscoe of Marion, Lisa Michelle Briscoe Conners of Missouri, and Alexis Howell of Colp; his four best friends, Dalton Martin, John Crosby, Tim Williams and Kyle Dudek, all of Johnston City; two very close families in Johnston City, Willie and Kim Dunham and Leon and Shirley Manier; and a host of cousins on the Howell/Briscoe side of the family.
Trevor was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ruth Ann Howell; stepgrandparent, Jessica Marie Howell; maternal grandfather, James Robert Briscoe; an uncle, Mike Briscoe; and a great-aunt, Joyce Vaughn.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at the Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Bruce Horsley officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
