William 'Bill' Carnett
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[William "Bill" Carnett died on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at his home in Danville.
Bill was born Aug. 7, 1953, in Aurora, Colo., to Cecil and Dora (Gonzales) Carnett. He attended Chicago and Danville schools, graduating from Danville High School in 1971. Bill was a mechanic and loved animals.
Survivors include Bill's parents, Cecil and Dora Carnett of Auburn; three sisters, Cis (Steve) Bruce of Danville, Connie (Harley) Frohmader of Atwater and Carol (Dennis) Selinger of Carterville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Murley (Sonheaver) Carnett; a sister, Cheryl Winn; and a nephew, Chad Spires.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Elmwood Cemetery near Equality with the Rev. Robert D. Patton officiating. Those attending should go directly to the cemetery. Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality is in charge of local arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
