Obituary: Donnie R. Denbow Sr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donnie R. Denbow Sr., 58, of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan, 2, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Donnie was born in Sikeston, Mo., on Oct. 1, 1953, a son of Wilma C. (Jones) and Raymond O. Denbow, both of whom survive.

He was a member of Equality Christian Center, a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Eldorado Masonic Lodge No. 730.

He worked as a auto technician at Southern Illinois Tire in Harrisburg prior to being injured.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three daughters, Julie Denbow Wolf of Crossville, Stephanie Denbow of Harrisburg and Ashley (Jimmy) Denbow Foster of Galatia; two sons, Donnie, (April Bebout) Denbow Jr., of Carrier Mills and Matthew S. Denbow, of Harrisburg; a brother, Ronnie, husband of Linda Denbow of Benton; and grandchildren,, Dylan Wolf, Mackenzie Wolf, Jaelynn Walker, Allexa Walker, Ryan Smith, Ryne Foster, Abby Jo Zertuche, Eliana Gill and Zaphania Denbow.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Ernest Denbow.

Funeral service will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado at noon on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, with the Rev. Allen Porter officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery on Harrisburg.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
