Harrisburg finishes fifth at Herrin

The Harrisburg boys finished fifth at last week's Herrin Cross Country Invitational, while Pinckneyville took home first place, scoring 18 points. Anna-Jonesboro (53), Carterville (83), Heerrin (99), Harrisburg (143) and Massac County (139) rounded out the scoring.

The Panthers had the top three finishes and five in the top 10, while Harrisburg's Luke Winkleman was the Bulldogs' top performer, finishing 19th with a time of 19:42.

Tyler Depew was 26th for Harrisburg, crossing the line at 21:54 and Luke Miller was 30th, finishing with a time of 22:59. Doc Harrawood was 33rd, finishing at 26:15 and Ryan Wilson finished 35th with a time of 26:39.

Pulliam has top girls time for Bulldogs

Harrisburg's Aubrey Pullum was the lone runner for the Bulldogs last week as she finished 31st overall with a time of 26:49.
