OBITUARY: Brenda Huett
Brenda Huett, age 63 of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1950, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late Delbert Lee and Mary Frances (Young) Ford. She married Dan Huett on June 5, 1981, and he survives. Brenda was retired from Nationwide Glove factory and was a member of Harrisburg First General Baptist Church.
Brenda is survived by her husband: Dan Huett of Harrisburg; daughter: Melissa Cochran and boyfriend Anthony Pinkard of Harrisburg; two grandchildren: Zachary Cochran and Jaclyn Rakas; sisters: Virginia and husband Allen Davidson of Eldorado, Debbie and husband Goerge Hunt of Carrier Mills, Rosemary and husband Cliff Clark of Wayne City, Ruth and husband Tom Widick of Eldorado, Lisa and husband Keith Driver of Rosiclare; a brother: Delbert and wife Michelle Ford of Golconda; and a sister-in-law: Phyllis and husband Richard Slightom.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Delbert and Mary Ford and a sister: Tammy Cummins.
Services for Brenda will be at 5 p.m. Monday, June, 16, 2004, at Reed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Billy Dye Jr. officiating and assisted by the Rev. Toby Hise. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Reed Funeral Chapel. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the family to offset funeral expenses and may be mailed to the funeral home at 503 East Sloan Street, Harrisburg, Ill. 62946.
