Jimmy Fallon challenges Paul Rudd to lip-sync battle

Former "Saturday Night Live" regular Jimmy Fallon is now in his second week hosting "The Tonight Show," taking over for longtime comedian Jay Leno.

Fallon, who has a different style than his predecessors, continues to serve up some great acts. Whether it's his thank-you notes or his History of Rap with Justin Timberlake, Fallon has re-energized the late-night television scene.

And for the first time since hosting "The Tonight Show," Fallon introduced the bit he used while hosting "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday night: Lip Sync Battle.

In his new installment, Fallon challenges actor Paul Rudd to a lip-sync battle. The two select two songs to perform in a battle of the ages. Neither person knows the other's song and is expected to bring their A-game.

Rudd serves up the proverbial ball and crushes Fallon with his lip-sync rendition of Tina Turner's song "You Better Be Good to Me." He follows up the assault with Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now."

Fallon didn't even stand a chance and concedes before singing his second song. He knew that he'd been beaten.

To be fair, Fallon's lip-sync rendition of "Jukebox Hero" by Foreigner was a talented performance, but it wasn't quite up to par with Rudd's performance.

It's not the first time Fallon was overshadowed by a guest. In September 2013, Fallon invited Stephen Merchant and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to a lip-sync battle and was clearly the lesser of the three.
