Obituary: James Richard McEwan

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James Richard McEwan, 50, of 306 E. Walnut St., Carrier Mills, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at his residence.

Memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to service time Wednesday. The Rev. Eddie Brooks will officiate.

He was born on March 9, 2012 in Herrin to the late Robert McEwan and Janice (Ritter) Lindle, whom survives.

He was a carpenter and served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his parents: Leroy and Janice Lindle of Carrier Mills; two sons, Matt McEwan of Shawneetown and Derick Partain of Harrisburg; two daughters, Amanda McEwan and Jamie Edwards both of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Trinity Evans, Kayden Murrow, Juelz Tullis and Kam Tullis; four brothers, Ellis McEwan, Mike (Candy) McEwan and Mike Lindle, all of Harrisburg and John Lindle of Carrier Mills; three sisters, Karen Foster of Harrisburg, Pat Jackson of Texas and Joyce Colbroth of Creal Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lori McEwan; sister, Nancy Lindle; granddaughter, Heaven Partain; and brother-in-law, Mike Foster.
