Exclusive: Thomas Lennon to Appear in Star Wars Episode of The Goldbergs
The force is with The Goldbergs .
Thomas Lennon will guest-star on an upcoming Star Wars-themed episode of the ABC sitcom, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The Reno 911! star will play a die-hard, elaborately costumed Star Wars fan who encounters Adam (Sean Giambrone) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) in line at the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi opening.
In addition, MADtv alum Bryan Callen will guest-star in two episodes as Mr. Meller, Adam's gym teacher who oversees him taking the Presidential fitness test, and Barry's (Troy Gentile) wrestling coach.
Lennon has co-starred with Goldbergs matriarch Wendi McLendon-Covey in Reno 911! and What to Expect When You're Expecting , but the two will not share any scenes together. Callen has also appeared on Sex and the City , Entourage and, like Lennon, How I Met Your Mother .
The Goldbergs airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC. Lennon's and Callen's episodes will air in the spring. Are you excited for the Star Wars episode?
