Carolyn Sue Omohundro
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carolyn Sue Omohundro, 68, 1800 Bartlett St., Eldorado, died 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at her son's residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Watson Funeral Home with Randy Grace officiating. Burial will be in Douglass Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1939, in Pope County to the late Glenn and Faye (Palmer) Wright. On June 10, 1957, she married James "Jim O" Omohundro, who preceded her in death in 1988.
She was a retired cake decorator from Big John's Food Center. She graduated Eldorado High School in 1957. She was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Dale Omohundro of Evansville, Ind., and Daniel Keith "Boone" (Tina) Omohundro of Eldorado; a brother, Jim (Dorothy) Wright of Eldorado; two sisters, Katherine Wright of Eldorado and Margarete (Gene) Hall of Eldorado; two brothers-in-law, Bill Fox of Harrisburg and David Vieres of McLeansboro; a sister-in-law Helen Stallings of Eldorado; six grandchildren, Clinton (Katie) Omohundro, Lauren Omohundro, Austin Omohundro, Greg Omohundro, Curt Omohundro and Laura Omohundro, all of Eldorado; and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Ethan and Makenzee.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Violet Fox.
