Prep Softball: Eldorado cranks out 13 hits against CMSF

The Eldorado softball team moved to 3-3 on the season with a 19-3 win over Carrier Mills-Stonefort in non-conference action Monday afternoon at the EHS Sports Complex.

The Eagles used a pair of pitchers in the win over CMSF as Hallie Kate Oldham went two innings in the start, giving up one hit and striking out two. Kylee Oglesby came on in relief and worked two innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on two hits, while striking out three and walking three.

It was a banner day at the plate for Eldorado, who had 13 hits on the day.

Oldham was a perfect 3-for-3 with a team-high four RBI and three runs scored, while Oglesby was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored.

Alexa Haenel was 2-for-3 as well with a pair of RBI and a run scored, while Piper DeBose was 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Katelyn Mayberry was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Brooklyn Biggerstaff and Cassidy Wells also had one hit. Biggerstaff scored two runs, while Wells scored three runs. Kylie Potts added a run and drove in one run, while Sydney Farmer scored one run.

Eldorado's game at Edwards County Tuesday was cancelled due to weather and will be played Friday. On Wednesday, EHS will travel to West Frankfort and the Eagles will play host to Edwards County at home Thursday.
