Prep Softball: Eldorado downed by Lions at home

Eldorado had five hits in a 9-5 loss to Edwards County Thursday, dropping to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in Black Diamond Conference play.

Kylee Oglesby led the Eagle offense, going 2-for-4, while Piper Debose was 1-for-2 with a fifth inning home run and scored two runs on the day.

Alexa Haenel also went deep, dropping a bomb in the seventh inning, finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI. Oldham had the other hit for EHS, finishing 1-for-4.

Oldham took the loss in the circle, giving up nine runs (four earned) on 11 hits, while striking out six and walking one.
