Obituary: Sally Frech

Sally Frech, 84, of Shawneetown, passed away at 12:46 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg. She was born on August 6, 1930 in Shawneetown, the daughter of George and Ethel (Combs) Flack. Sally married William Frech in 1975 and he passed away in 1985. She worked for many years as a banquet waitress at the Holiday Inn in Springfield, Ill. Sally is survived by her sister, Evelyn Stefko of Harrisburg; two nephews, Fred Jr. and Melanie Hise of Centerpoint, Indiana, Bill and Nancy Hise of Lewes, Delaware. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Johnny Browning; and her sister, Bessie Hise. There will be no services and an inturnment will be at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown. Vickery Funeral Chapel of Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
