</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Malcolm White, 77, 120 S. Land St., Harrisburg, died 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Baker officiating and the VFW assisting with military rites. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are in the charge of Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home, Harrisburg.
He was born Feb. 6, 1931, in West Frankfort to Fred and Janet White. On Feb. 28, 1969, he married the former Mona Ulmer, who survives in Eldorado.
He was a veteran of the Air Force and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rhonda (Arthur) Johnson of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Joe (Alice) Wartenbe of Eldorado; a grandson, Joey Lee Wartenbe of Eldorado; and two sisters, Mary Burke of West Frankfort and Bessie Fozzard of Nevada.
