Harry Richard Hess, 77, of Vandalia, formerly of Harrisburg Passed away Friday, November 20, 2015.

He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Juanita Kidd of Vandalia, 1 sone Richard Hess of St. Louis, 1 Daughter, Terri (Jerry) Car of Golconda. 2 Grandsons, DJ and Zeek Hess, 1 Granddaughter, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Hall. 3 great grandchildren, Braden and Taylor Hall, and Ray Hess. 1 Sister Neva (David) Weatherly of Punta Gorda, Florida. Nephews, Mike (Sandy) Gidcomb, Jeff and Danny (Jill) Weatherly and 1 Niece Becky (Luke) Turner and several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mildred (Stiff) Hess and 1 sister Judy Worthington.

He was the Manager of an Employment Agency in St. Louis for many years; a U.S. Army Veteran; Member of Temperance Lodge #16 A.F.A. M., Moose Lodge #1447, & Vandalia Country Club & Gold Club; and The Elks Club.

In Honoring his wishes there will be no service or visitation.
