</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Michael C. Taylor, 71, Carbondale, died 8:24 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home of Rosiclare with the Rev. Ed Lafferty officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Empire Cemetery, Elizabethtown. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at the funeral home with Masonic rites at 7 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Ginger) Jean Taylor; a daughter; a son; and three grandchildren.
