Mary Elizabeth Bean

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Elizabeth Bean, 76, of Eldorado, passed away at 2:25 AM, Sunday, February 6th, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

On June 22, 1952, she married Delmon Bean, who preceded her in death.

Mary was born in Eldorado on February 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Katherine (Wright) and Roy E. Ham.

She was a member of Eldorado First Baptist Church.

She worked as a secretary at the Eldorado Elementary School for 28 years.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Danny) Ragan of Harrisburg and Karen (Gary) Parks of Eldorado; a son, Kevin Bean of Eldorado; grandchildren, Zach (Megan) Ragan of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Luke Ragan of Harrisburg, Sherry (Ryan) Kristof of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Kristin Parks of Nashville, Tenn., Tyler Parks of Eldorado, Michelle (Jeff) Bradley of Mount Vernon, Heather (Benjie) Wiggins of Harrisburg and Kyla (Lucas) Webb of McLeansboro; a brother, William J. (Vivian) Ham of Marion; sisters-in-law, Arlene Bean of Harrisburg, Stella Anderson of Eldorado, Grace Mathias of Houston, Texas; and a brother-in-law, Herbert Miller of Junction.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Fernetta Gilbert.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Plunkett officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
