Jesse Lowe White Jr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jesse Lowe White Jr., 77, of Snellville, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011.

He was born to the late Jesse Lowe White Sr. and Thelma Genice Stewart White on Sept. 24, 1933, in Eldorado.

Jesse is survived by his son, Jeff White and daughter-in-law, Susan White of Lawrenceville, Ga. and daughter, Kellie White Terrell and son-in-law, Cary Terrell of Snellville, Ga. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chris and Rachel White of Macon, Ga., Lindsay White of Lawrenceville, Ga., Chad Terrell of Snellville, Ga. and Chelsea Terrell of Snellville, Ga.; sister, Hilda White Higgs and brother-in-law Edmund Higgs of Evansville, Ind.; and sister, Karen Sue White Miller and brother-in-law, Robert Miller of Vinton, Va.

Jesse faithfully and honorably served his country and ended his tour of active duty in the U. S. Navy on May 14, 1956. He served four years in the Naval Reserve and was honorably discharged on June 8, 1960.

Jesse retired from AT&T in October 1988 after 32 years of service.

A memorial service officiated by his niece, the Rev. Amanda Miller Garber, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home, 3705 Hwy. 78 West, Snellville, Ga. 30039.
