Prep Hoops: Godsey named to Ohio All-Conference Squad

For the third straight year, Harrisburg's Michael Godsey was named to the 10-person Southern Illinois River-To-River Ohio All-Conference Team.

The Bulldog senior guard led the way with 15 points per game, 3.4 rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament Team at Murphysboro.

Also recognized was Benton's Reid Baumgarte and like Godsey, Baumgarte led the Rangers in scoring at 10 points, five rebounds and three assists per game.

Herrin put three players on the All-Conference team, including Eldorado Holiday Tournament MVP Haydon Mayer, as well as, Riley Chrostoski and Kyrese Lukens.

Mayer averaged 14 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game, while Lukens averaged 8.3 points, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game and Chrostoski averaged 6 points, 3 assists and 2 steals per game.

Murphysboro also had three players on the All-Conference Team as the Ohio Division champs put Calvon Clemons, Tyreek Feggins and AJ Walker on the squad, while Massac County rounded things out with a pair of sophomores in Will Harmon and Isaac Hosman.
