Ferrell Hospital clinic practice manager named to Illinois Rural Health board

Kristin Parks, Ferrell Hospital's Clinic Practice Manager, has been named to the 2021-2023 Illinois Rural Health Association board of directors.

In her new role, Parks will support the organization and its mission to strengthen health systems for rural residents and communities through advocacy, education, networking and leadership.

Her term will begin Sept. 1, and she will serve for three years.

Organized in 1989, the Illinois Rural Health Association is a nonprofit, collaborative association with more than 750 members including hospitals, rural health clinics, public health departments, clinicians, educators, industry consultants, consumers and public officials.
