'Dogs pick up home win over Hardin Co.
Frankie Leigh Nicholas shot a 94 for Harrisburg Wednesday as the Bulldogs shot a 408 at the Marion Invite at Kokopelli Golf Course.
Nicholes' round was one of just two under 100 for Harrisburg as Gracie Behnke finished with a 99.
Madison McClusky shot a 100 for the Bulldogs, while Kinsley Angelly had a 115.
Massac County won the event with a 343, while Mario shot a 362, followed by Harrisburg's 408. Other schools competing, but not counting towards the team score were Hamilton County, Herrin and Johnston City.
Marion's Sarah Capel took overall medalist honors with a 76, while Hamilton County's Kaylee Vaughan was second with a 77. The Massac County duo of Lily Conkle and McKinley Corte each shot an 80 and Marion's Baylee Kelley finished with an 83.
On Tuesday, Harrisburg picked up a triangular win, shooting a 188 and beating West Frankfort (205) and Carterville (212) Tuesday afternoon at Franklin County Country Club in West Frankfort.
Harrisburg's Madison McClusky took overall medalist honors, shooting a 38, while the Bulldogs got a 44 from Frankie Leigh Nicholes, a 47 from Gracie Behnke and a 59 from Laken Moore. Kinsley Angelly also played for HHS, shooting a 63.

Harrisburg got a pair of 40's from Grant Wilson and Colby Morse as the Bulldogs shot a 164 to win by 40 strokes over the Cougars (204).
Andrew Bittle and Krayton Morse both shot a 42 for the Bulldogs, while Harrisburg also got a 56 from Peyton Arnold and a 61 from Brandon Banks.
