Bulldogs finish third at WF

The Harrisburg boys' golf team took third in a three-team triangular Tuesday at Franklin County Country Club in West Frankfort.

West Frankfort (167) edged Anna-Jonesboro (168), while the Bulldogs shot a 182.

Anna-Jonesboro's Luke Lasley took overall medalist honors with a 39.

Andrew Bittle led the way for Harrisburg with a 40 and was followed up by a 45 from Grant Wilson. Brent Lawrence fired a 47 for the Bulldogs, while Krayton Morse and Evan McDermott each finished with a 50. Hayden Emery rounded out the scoring for Harrisburg with a 53.

West Frankfort got a team-low 40 from Ben Herron, while Colden Hilliard carded a 41 and Tyson Elko fired a 42. Lucas Whittington rounded out the four-person with a 44. Landon Croslin shot a 45 and H. Melwin had a 55.

Gavin Osman netted a 40 for the Wildcats, while Ayden Bailey finished with a 43. Hayden Ralls finished with a 46, while Timothy Plott shot a 49 and Kamden Richardson finished with a 54.
