Harrisburg girls get win over Carmi-White Co.

Harrisburg's Madison McClusky took home medalist honors for the second time this season after shooting a 38 and helped Harrisburg to a 174-211 win over Carmi-White County Thursday at Shawnee Hills Country Club in Harrisburg.

Frankie Leigh Nicholas fired a 43 for the Bulldogs, while Gracie Behnke added a 45 and Laken Moore rounded out the four-person scoring with a 48.

Kinsley Angelly added a 59, Jaci Robinson carded a 63 and Ann Marie Podoriscki finished with a 67.

Macey Heir and Kate Deig each fired a 47 for Carmi-White County, while Laci Mills finished with a 57.

Elleigh Gray added a 60 and Saylor Mason finished with a 68.

Harrisburg was scheduled to host Eldorado Tuesday and will play host to Benton on Thursday. The Bulldogs will close out their week at Massac County on Saturday.

<b>Carmi-White County knocks off Harrisburg</b>

Carmi's Ty Barbre took medalist honors with a 32 as the Bulldogs beat Harrisburg 155-166 in a dual match Thursday at Shawnee Hills Country Club Thursday.

Harrisburg was led by a 38 from Andrew Bittle, while HHS got a 40 from Grant Wilson and a pair of 44's from Krayton Morse and Brent Lawrence.

Evan McDermott and Hayden Emery each had a pair of 50's for Harrisburg.

Following Barbre's 32, CWC got a pair of 39's from Kacee Fulkerson and Kaden Carter. Jace Burzynski carded a 45, while Gage Attebery shot a 50 and Zack Roark fired a 51.

Harrisburg was scheduled to host West Frankfort Tuesday and will close out the week at Massac County.
