Murphy-Wall women attend banking conference

Employees of Murphy-Wall State Bank were active at this year's annual Women in Banking Conference, hosted by the Illinois Bankers Association Sept. 19 to 20 in Springfield.

The two-day conference gives women in the financial workforce opportunities to network with peers, compare notes with those who have similar challenges and success, and learn from top-rated speakers on management, leadership, industry issues and personal development.

Bank VP Candice Knight was a member of the planning committee for this year's conference, and EVP Susan Davis was a panelist for the "Millennials, Boomers and Everything in Between" session.
