Waterloo woman seriously injured in motorcycle accident
A 52-year-old Waterloo woman was airlifted to a regional hospital after a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on Sunday on Roots Road west of Harmony Road.
According to the Illinois State Police's preliminary crash report, Kimberly S. Esker was driving a 1999 Harley Davidson along Roots Road when she left the outside of a curve and was ejected from her motorcycle.
Esker was not wearing a helmet. She was flown from the scene with major, but non-life threatening injuries.
The accident was reported at 2:06 p.m.
