Terry Jean Deering of Harrisburg

HARRISBURG - Terry Jean Deering, 66, died at 9 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, in Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg.

Memorial graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, with the Rev. Harl Cockrum officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends should go directly to the cemetery.

She was born May 15, 1951, in Saline County to Eugene Vinyard and the former Tessie Seets, who both preceded her in death.

She married Gary Deering on Dec. 16, 1964, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1986.

Survivors include her son, Randy Deering of Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Edward Deering.

Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.
