Cora G. “Dodie” Day of Rosiclare

Cora G. "Dodie" Day, 95, of Rosiclare, died Thursday May 25, 2017 at Rosiclare Healthcare. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist.

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Bowling of Metropolis, IL, Carol (Darrell) Staggs of Kingman, AZ, Judith (Randy) Sinclare of Baton Rouge, LA; Patricia Wettstein of Stockton, CA; son, Ronald Day of Golconda, IL; brother, Bill Tyree of North Carolina; sister, Juanita Knaipe of Kirksville, MO; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Day; parents, John Melvin and Martha Tyree; 1 brother; 1 sister; 2 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Chapel, in Rosiclare, followed by interment in Dixon-Volkert Cemetery. Please make donations to the Hardin County Golden Circle.
