William Hurd

<span>HARRISBURG -- William J. "Will" Hurd, 36, died at 6:04 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, in Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg.</span>

<span>Memorial graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Gary Simmons officiating. There will be no visitation. All friends and family should come directly to the cemetery.</span>

<span>Will was born Feb. 9, 1980, in Evansville, Indiana, to Jackie Lee and Barbara (Griffith) Hurd.</span>

<span>He was a graduate of Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School.</span>

<span>Will enjoyed rabbit hunting and driving around in his old truck, talking and visiting with people.</span>

<span>Survivors include his father, Jackie Lee Hurd of Harrisburg; brother, Jack R. Hurd of Muddy; two sisters, Carla Natzel and Melissa Hurd, both of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.</span>

<span>He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hurd; and brother, Jackie L. Hurd Jr.</span>
