Frank Harley DeBose
MCLEANSBORO - Frank Harley DeBose, 78, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, in McLeansboro Rehab and Health Care Center.
Frank was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Sturgis, Kentucky to the late William and Lucy "Goldie" (Caldwell) DeBose.
On Aug. 31, 1958, Frank married the former Eva Jane Butler. From this union six children were born, Cathy (Rick) Cronin of Carmi, Connie Mobley of New Haven, the late Frankie H. DeBose Jr., Eddie (Sheila) Debose of Carmi, Gregory (Melody) DeBose of McLeansboro and Kimberly (Doug) Hawkins of Catlin.
On May 8, 2004, he married Willie Mae McDaniel, and from this union a son and three daughters became a family, Michael Huckabay, Crystal (Gerald) Skelton, Jackie (Dustin) Parmley and Melody (Greg) DeBose, all of McLeansboro.
Other survivors include a sister, Dorothy Smith; three brothers, Clifford, Donald and Robert "Bobby" Debose; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and son, he was preceded in death by nine siblings, Willard DeBose, Thomas DeBose, Henry DeBose, Curtis DeBose, J.W. DeBose, Lucy Hosman, Billie Sigler, Mary Clark and Ruby Barnes.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Walter Rexing officiating. Private burial will be at a later date in Jackson Cemetery in Ridgway. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
