Richard Joseph Grace

SHAWNEETOWN - Richard Joseph Grace, 66, passed away at 2:24 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, in Harrisburg Medical Center.

He was born April 26, 1950, in Eldorado, son of the late Clyde Alvin and Ruby Mae (Awalt) Grace.

Survivors include his sisters, Sue Thomas of Taylorville and Amy Ellis of Shawneetown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

Richard attended Eldorado Church of God.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown with the Rev. Jarrod Barton officiating. Burial will be in Callicott Cemetery near Ridgway. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Callicott Cemetery.
