William "Bill" Kinney

William "Bill" Kinney, age 79, of Eddyville, Illinois passed away on September 2, 2016 at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Bill was born June 5, 1937 in Danville, IL to Franklin and Ruth (Waidelich) Kinney. He was a U.S. ARMY veteran. He retired as a Chief Operator from the railroad after 44 years of service. He was a loving husband and father. He loved the Lord and sharing it with others through his music. Bill was a giver and liked to take care of people. He played guitar and sang in the local "jam" sessions. He loved to travel and fish.

He is survived by his four children, Dennis (Joy) Kinney, Kathy Knickrehm Kinney, Debbie Noworyta, Tina (Jason) Carmin; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mae Fowler; numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Eddyville Cemetery.
