Regina Marie Funaro

Regina Marie Funaro, age 42 of Harrisburg, passed away at 11:53 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

<span>Regina was born on September 1, 1973, in Long Island, New York, to Anthony Funaro Sr., and Josephine (Cavalier) Funaro. Regina formerly worked for Aisin in Marion, and she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Eldorado. She volunteered for the Harrisburg Lions Club, and other organizations. </span>

<span>Regina is survived by her mother, Josephine Funaro of Harrisburg; sister, Angel Ferrel and fiancée Keith Turner of Harrisburg; brother, Anthony Funaro, Jr., of Harrisburg, nephew, Michael Ferrel and wife Serena of Benton; niece, Anntoinette Underwood and husband Cody, of Harrisburg; nephew, Anthony Funaro III, and wife Amber of Stonefort; cousin, Theresa Hunt and husband Phillip of Harrisburg and their children Samantha and Nathan; great nephews, Isaiah Underwood who was her God-son, Zechariah Underwood, and Jeremiah Underwood; great nephew: T.J. Funaro; great niece, Brianna Funaro; and lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles that still reside in New York.</span>

<span>Regina was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Funaro, Sr. and an aunt, Fannie Hendren.</span>

<span> Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Harrisburg, Illinois. Father Mark Stec will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
