Byrum Wallace

Byrum Wallace, age 93, of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:00 PM, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his residence in Harrisburg.

Byrum was born on December 16, 1922 in Harrisburg, to the late, William Wallace and Verba (Millikan) Wallace. He married Mildred Randolph on August 1, 1942 and she preceded him in death on November 3, 2008. Byrum was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the River of Life United Pentecostal Church in Harrisburg.

Byrum is survived by one son, Larry "Snake" Wallace of Harrisburg; a brother, Gaylord Wallace and wife, Bette of Newburgh, Indiania.

Byrum was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred, brothers, Kestner Wallace and Victor Wallace; and sisters, Mabel Baldwin and Hazel Stanislawsky.

Funeral services for Byrum Wallace will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Rev. Bobby Gentry will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel.
