WRESTLING: PCHS wrestlers 6th at Mt. Olive; Neville wins 113-lb. division

Pinckneyville's varsity wrestling squad traveled to Mt. Olive on Saturday for tournament action where they finished sixth of the thirteen teams competing, and 113-pounder Collier Neville took home first place for the Panthers in his division.

Other top-four finishers for PCHS included Tyler Eggemeyer (3rd, 126 lbs.), Jordan Koester (3rd, 138), Blaine Riley (3rd, 152), Grant Murphy (3rd, 160), Andrew Stevers (4th, 195), Jeremy Opp (4th, 220) and Sean Allgire (4th, 185).

The Panthers, coached by head coach Garret Huggins and assistant Scott Martin, are back in action on Tuesday night at Murphysboro.
