Tyler Smithpeters - SIU

Smithpeters was one of five Salukis to score in double figures as Southern posted a 74-66 win over North Texas Saturday night at the Arena.

Smithpeters was 3-for-3 from the field, all 3-pointers, and 2-for-2 from the foul stripe for 11 points. He finished with two rebounds, had two steals and one turnover in 27 minutes.

Will Carmickle - Morthland

Carmickle had 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting, including a 1-for-4 mark from beyond the arc and 2-of-3 from the foul line as Morthland fell to Robert Morris University-Peoria 101-104 in double overtime of the Ron Herrin Shootout.

Carmickle, an Eldorado product, had a team-high 18 rebounds to go along with three assists and one turnover in 38 minutes of action.

On Friday, Carmickle had no points in a 90-67 win over Robert Morris University-Springfield, snapping a four-game losing streak.

Carmickle did finish with seven rebounds, six on the defensive end and had two assists in 19 minutes of work.

Paige Zertuche - MacMurray

Zertuche got the start, logging 28 minutes and scoring a team-high 14 points in a 77-71 loss to Principa.

The 2015 graduate of Eldorado went 6-of-15 from the field and 2-of-9 from 3-point range, while grabbing five rebounds, handing out three assists and coming away with three steals.

Zertuche is shooting 29 percent from the floor, 21 percent from beyond the arc and 80 percent from the free throw line to date this season.
