Prep Hoops: Eagles ground Gallatin Co., Ramsey on road

Eldorado put three players in double figures Friday night in yet another road game for the Eagles who have yet to play at home, but it wasn't the offensive side of things that pleased EHS head coach Josh Bradley.

A defensive mindset, playing a triangle-and-two on junior juggernaut Seth Ramsey, who was limited to just nine points all night helped propel Eldorado to a 59-37 win as the Eagles are now 4-2 on the season. Gallatin County is still winless at 0-6.

Clay Boulds scored a game-high 15 points for Eldorado, while Ethan Partridge poured in 11 and Isaac Bethel tacked on 10 in the win for the Eagles.

Audie Goebel scored a team-high 13 for Gallatin County, while Ramsey netted nine and Trevor Duvall chipped in with six. Braden Brazier finished with four, while Patrick Clark tacked on three and Logan Lane had two points.

Eldorado got another additional eight points from Braden Attebury, while John Meredith and Max Kasiar each finished with four points. Adam Partridge, Kale Oglesby and Sam Coker each scored two points, while Adam Ninness tossed in a free throw.

Eldorado is scheduled to play at West Frankfort Tuesday and will be at Fairfield to open BDC play on Friday.
